Still Alive

Hey everyone. I am just making this post to let folks know that I'm still alive and I haven't abandoned this blog - I know it might seem that way sometimes due to my lack of activity. I've been moving around these last few years and it's been tough for me to keep up with all of my projects and priorities. I am now back in San Francisco working as a web developer for a non-profit ethnic media organization. I am hoping to find enough time to start updating this blog again in the near future.

I've been looking at the traffic analytics for this blog and noticed that there's been a pretty big spike in unique visitors the last couple months. I've also noticed people have been contributing comments. I just want to let everyone know that I appreciate your interest in my blog and the fact that you've been contributing to it these last couple of years. This blog would be worthless without your support.

When I first created this blog, my intentions were to reach out to people, share my research and raise awareness of this Patel/slumlord issue in San Francisco. I think that since then, I've not only achieved that goal, but reached out to a much wider audience than I had initially anticipated.

I never expected this blog to become so popular - It got 696 views last month. I contemplated the idea of putting up some google ads on this blog to generate some revenue, but I decided not to do it. Putting up ads would compromise the integrity of this blog. I want this blog to be clean, informative, and ad-free. If any of you have anything else you wish to contribute, feel free to post a comment. If you don't want your comment published on the blog, just say so and I'll keep it unpublished.
